Angela was born in Mexico City, grew up in the great state of Texas, and now resides in San Francisco. As a child, she loved reading books and making a mess creating pictures. She's delighted to still be doing both. Since graduating with an MFA from the Academy of Art University, Angela has worked with a variety of publishing companies including Dial/Penguin, Feiwel and Friends, Abrams, Random House/Tricycle Press, Holiday House, and Children's Book Press.
